Black Bros. shifts sites to NBMDA Convention, WMS in Q4

MENDOTA, IL — Black Brothers Company will participate in the 2025 NBMDA Annual Convention on Nov. 4-6 in Chicago. The event brings together distributors and manufacturers in the building material and flooring coverings industry, and you can visit the venerable machinery maker in Booth #1103.

“It’s our first time attending,” said Black Bros. sixth-generation owner Evan Carroll, who will attend the event with Midwest Sales Rep Erik Weber. “So, there will be a little feeling out to do on our end. But we’ve been doing our homework and connecting with people ahead of time. There is a great schedule of events that we’re looking forward to, not just the trade-show portion.”

That list includes receptions, keynote speakers, and thought-leadership sessions.

The other industry event on the radar for Black Bros. in Q4 is the biennial Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference and Expo in Toronto, CA in which Assistant Director of Sales and Service Steve DeLong, along with Marketing Manager Clay Coss, will represent Black Bros. at. The show is set to run Nov. 12-14.

“We’ve got a few things lined up for that week, so we are going to do a one-day sweep of (WMS) this time around rather than having our booth. Still, we are excited to visit with our friends and contacts at that show, keep our finger on the pulse of things. We are seeing increased competition north of the border and are also aware that the Canadian government is taking steps to ignite its housing market. So, we’ve got our work cut out for us to remain the best option for manufacturers and builders up there. We have a strong gameplan.”

Founded in 1882 and in its sixth generation of family ownership, Black Bros. is a worldwide leader in laminating and roll coating equipment. Common industries include woodworking and furniture, building materials, transportation, metal, packaging and converting, and consumer products.

What is Lorem Ipsum?

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
