SIPs Expo showcases “modern way to build”

MENDOTA, IL — Black Bros. Co. will occupy a tabletop at the 2024 Select SIPs Expo and Annual Meeting on Jan. 29-31 in Phoenix, AZ.

Stop by and talk to Marketing Manager Clay Coss and watch a new video of the venerable machinery manufacturer’s Motorized Air Pod Press, 775 Adhesive Spreader, and automated material-handling equipment. Black Bros. makes SIP production a cinch.

“SIPs are such great market for our equipment, really a perfect fit for our presses and spreaders, which we’ve been building and perfecting since the 1920s,” Coss said. “So, there are no secrets — most of the attendees are aware of Black Bros. — but by being there we can answer specific questions and refresh those industry relationships.”

Aside from the small expo, also slated for the event are a preliminary 18-hole golf scramble with welcome reception, annual awards ceremony and auction, and Board of Directors and committee-member meetings.

“There’s a lot of good information shared and interesting ideas discussed,” Coss continued. “A lot of thoughtful people and decision makers who are helping shape the SIP industry. Listening to their passion and their belief in this modernized way to build is valuable in itself.”

Made by sandwiching a core of rigid foam insulation between two structural facings, usually OSB, SIPs provide an extremely strong and energy-efficient building system. Black Bros. designs and manufactures customized single machines as well as integrated systems to ensure your best process for profit. From simply applying a consistent layer of adhesive simultaneously to both sides of foam, to evenly and precisely pressing perfectly-flat panels, Black Bros. has the heavy-duty equipment needed as well as automated options for transferring and handling Jumbo-sized products.

What is Lorem Ipsum?

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
